Today during D23, Walt Disney Animation Studios announced Raya and the Last Dragon, a new movie coming Thanksgiving 2020.
Raya and the Last Dragon is described as an “epic fantasy adventure” centering around “Raya, a lone warrior on a quest to find the last dragon.” The character is described as fearless and passionate, with a winning charm about her.
Cassie Steele (Rick and Morty’s Tammy) voices Raya; the Last Dragon, Sisu, which also has a human form, is voiced by Awkwafina (Crazy Rich Asians).
