We knew that Harmonix’s VR rhythm shooter Audica was bound to surface on PlayStation VR sooner or later, but now there’s a release-window confirmation – it’s making the trip to PSVR this fall.
“At launch, Audica will include four visually stunning arenas, a variety of blasters, a suite of customization options to personalize your gameplay experience, and a campaign to guide you through the 30+ song soundtrack,” said product manager Jessa Brezinski. Rest assured, “Pop/Stars” made it.
Currently, you can find the game on Steam Early Access if you have a PC virtual reality headset and want a break from your usual Beat Saber outings. (Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and Valve Index are all supported.) As one Steam user reviewer noted, Audica makes you “feel like John Wick as a DJ persona.”
I’m looking forward to finally checking this out when the weather chills a bit.
