Dressing up in costume used to just be for Halloween. Now, cosplay is becoming part of American culture, with fans dressing up for comic conventions like Comic-Con International, AnimeExpo, and E3. However, this trend doesn’t just extend to conventions, as even high schools are beginning to embrace the cosplay movement.

For instance, North Farmington High School in Farmington Hills, Mich. has started a fun tradition. Every year, for the last three years, they encourage students to dress up as their favorite actor, musician, or meme. The students pick their favorite outfits and dress up to get their student ID photos taken.
