Wonder Woman: Dead Earth is a new comic mini-series releasing under DC Comics’ mature Black Label imprint, telling the story of Diana Prince waking up in a post-apocalyptic world that already lost the fight against evil. She’s forced to wander the dead earth alone and piece together what caused the apocalypse while fighting off all manner of giant monsters, according to io9 where the comic was revealed. And while that plot synopsis sounds intriguing by itself, the main reason to get hyped is the fact that it’s written and drawn by Daniel Warren Johnson, who is arguably the most exciting artist in modern comics.
