While all the console and PC folks have to wait another five weeks to officially get their hands on the next Call of Duty game, the wait for the mobile crowd is much shorter. The cleverly-titled Call of Duty: Mobile blasts off in less than a fortnite.
Call of Duty‘s free mobile adaption is set to launch worldwide on October 1 (well, except for Mainland China, Vietnam, and Belgium). It’ll be available on both iOS and Android devices.
Drawing from both Modern Warfare and Black Ops sub-series, Mobile includes fan-favorite maps such as Crash, Crossfire, Nuketown, and Hijacked. It also spans the new and old of Call of Duty, with modes like Team Deathmatch, Free-For-All, and Battle Royale all present.
However, it seems as though Zombies didn’t make it into the final product despite preview builds noting its inclusion. An Activision representative tells us “We’ve always said we have another mode planned,” which is surely Zombies. They add “Call of Duty: Mobile will always be updating with new events, maps, modes, etc. We’ll be announcing more post-launch.” For now, Call of Duty: Mobile will be entirely PvP.
