Microsoft has announced that it will be inviting some its community living in the United States, United Kingdom, and Korea to test out its game streaming service called Project xCloud this October.
Kareem Choudhry, Corporate Vice President – Project xCloud at Microsoft, explained that this “Public preview is a critical phase in our multi-year ambition to deliver game streaming globally at the scale and quality of experience that the gaming community deserves and expects.”
Xbox Boss Phil Spencer and other Microsoft employees have already been using Project xCloud and playing such titles as Crackdown 3, Destiny 2, Sea of Thieves, Halo 5: Guardians and Gears 5, and now the public will be able to test it out themselves.
