The Internet is currently abuzz over The Irishman director Martin Scorsese’s declaration that Marvel movies are “not cinema,” and now Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn has weighed in.
Gunn took to Twitter to reveal he’s “saddened” by Scorsese’s comments, drawing a comparison to the pre-release outrage directed against Scorsese’s 1988 film The Last Temptation of Christ.
