Regardless of last week’s controversies and mixed reviews, Electronic Arts’s football sim FIFA 20 continues to rock the top of the UK charts, making it three weeks in a row for the latest entry in EA’s legendary franchise.

FIFA 20 managed to fend off the release of Codemasters racing sim, GRID, as well as continued strong showings from shooters, including Ubisoft’s Not Good Ghost Recon: Breakpoint and Microsoft’s Very Good Gears 5. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, much like Grand Theft Auto V, continues to shift physical copies years after release, pushing its way back into the Top Three.

Elsewhere in the charts, smaller titles such as Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair and Concrete Genie are floating in the mid-30s, further solidifying the idea that physical charts are essentially the domain of the heavily-marketed mainstream releases. With that in mind, as we head deeper into the year’s end, shakeups can be expected from the launch of Shenmue III, MediEvil, Death Stranding and, of course, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
