The Last of Us 2 release date announcement rolled out with a slew of different editions, including an Ellie Edition and a Collector’s Edition. The Ellie Edition sold out in minutes and hasn’t appeared in-stock since, but if you still want to bring home the collector’s edition, it just came back into stock at Walmart and has been holding steady at GameStop, too.
Where to Get The Last of Us 2 Collector’s Edition
If you want to get the Last of Us 2 Collector’s Edition, I would recommend you do it now rather than later. Amazon ran out first, and now it’s even showing the $79.99 Last of Us 2 Special Edition as out-of-stock. Best Buy had The Last of Us Part 2 Collector’s Edition in-stock for longer, but it also ran out. If you haven’t gotten the Collector’s Edition because you’re holding out for the Ellie Edition, my advice is to pick up the Last of Us 2 Collector’s Edition now and if you’re able to get your hands on an Ellie Edition later (which looks less and less likely), you can always cancel the CE. When it’s gone, it’s probably going to be gone for good.
