Lou Ferrigno, who played The Hulk opposite Bill Bixby’s Dr. David Bruce Banner in the famous 70s/80s TV series, had some disapproving words recently about the way Hulk was portrayed in Avengers: Endgame.
While speaking at Canada’s Hamilton Comic Con (as reported by ComicBook.com), Ferrigno took umbrage with the way Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner, in the film, had merged his mind with Hulk’s body. Though it was the film’s take on Professor Hulk from the comics, Ferrigno felt it took away the monster aspect of Hulk that he felt was important.
