Legion creator Noah Hawley is in final talks with Paramount Pictures to write and direct the next Star Trek film.
As reported by Deadline, Hawley, through his 26 Keys production banner, will produce the film alongside J.J. Abrams and Bad Robot.
Not much is known about the film that will be the first Star Trek film since 2016’s Star Trek Beyond, but Deadline’s sources say Hawley will direct the “Enterprise crew led by Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, and Karl Urban.”
Hawley, who also serves as the executive producer, writer, director, and showrunner of FX’s Fargo, is currently in production of the fourth season of this Emmy-winning limited series that stars Chris Rock this time around.
