Despite some graphic deficits and bad design choices, Shenmue III perfectly continues the unique atmosphere of the series. Both the rural Bailu with its many shortcuts and the lively Niaowu are as dear to this writer as Yokosuka and Kowloon.
It is is exactly what series fans have hoped for: thoughtful Asian adventure with lots of adventure, little action and a lot of attention to detail, stale and beautiful at the same time.
