UPDATE: J.J. Abrams has revealed that the Rise of Skywalker run time will actually be around 141 minutes, but notes that it could change by a minute or two depending on how the final credits work out.
Announced on EWLive, Abrams has confirmed that The Last Jedi will remain the longest Star Wars film to date. Rise of the Skywalker will still have a pretty solid run time though, coming in at around 2 hours and 21 minutes, but it won’t surpass the 2017 title.
ORIGINAL STORY: Tickets for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker are officially on sale, and along with the showtimes, the launch reveals that TROS will officially become the longest Star Wars film ever at 155 minutes, or 2 hours and 35 minutes in length.
