Avengers: Endgame writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely have opened up about Marvel’s decision to not pursue Iron Man 4.

Speaking to Vanity Fair, the two screenwriters reflected on Tony Stark’s journey over the past decade-plus, as they explained why they felt theĀ character’s swan song in Endgame came at the right time, saying a fourth solo Iron Man movie would have been “one too many.”
