The next best candidate if you have a little bit more to burn is the Dell G3 15 at $679 with sports a GTX 1660 Ti Max Q, which is a higher mid-range GPU. It gets you about 15% more frame rates compare to the 1650 listed above in similar settings, and makes VR gaming a lot more viable. This means for $680 you’ll get a head start on a VR-capable gaming laptop if you eventually want to pluck the money over for Half-Life: Alyx.
