Per Page Six, Johnny Depp is producing an unauthorized musical about the “King of Pop,” Michael Jackson – where Michael’s story is told through the point of view of his famous sequin glove.
Opening in LA on January 25, the show — titled “For the Love of a Glove: An Unauthorized Musical Fable About the Life of Michael Jackson, as told by his Glove” — is described as a “look into the strange forces that shaped Michael and the scandals that bedeviled his reputation.” And yes, it’s narrated by a talking, singing glove.
