Famed comic book creator Todd McFarlane has offered an update on his Spawn reboot project, promising fans “the movie’s coming.”
Speaking to BeTerrific at Toy Fair 2019, McFarlane explained how the reboot movie getting made is not a matter of “if” but “when”, as he vowed to move forward with the project whether or not a studio attaches itself in the process.
“Right now it’s being polished by another writer-director from the script that we handed him,” McFarlane told the outlet about the ongoing script modifications. “He’s supposed to be done with it here in a few weeks, and then once we sort of go back and forth and tighten it up a little bit, then we’re going into Hollywood and we’re gonna get a yes or no.
