Rep. Duncan D. Hunter (R-CA) pleaded guilty to misusing campaign funds this week, including spending over $1,500 for Steam games. Hunter has announced he will be resigning from his office before the holidays.

“It’s been an honor to serve the people of California’s 50th District, and I greatly appreciate the trust they have put in me over these last 11 years,” said the six-term congressman who admitted to misusing over $250,000 in campaign funds.

Hunter and his wife, Margaret, were indicted last summer for misusing campaign funds for personal use including vacations and over a thousand dollars on Steam video game purchases. Hunter might be best known for becoming viral online after footage came out of him vaping during a Committee hearing.
