James Gunn has talked to 2016’s Suicide Squad director David Ayer about the upcoming new take on the DC characters, The Suicide Squad.
Gunn was holding a Q&A on his Instagram and said that he told Ayer a little bit of information about The Suicide Squad.
“David Ayer is a great guy
we have discussed and I’ve told him what we’re up to with The Suicide Squad at least a little bit,” Gunn said, according to CinemaBlend.

This comes a month after Ayer posted a picture on his Instagram of Jared Leto’s Joker and reminisced in the caption about what could’ve been for the character. Ayer has previously voiced his support for Gunn’s sequel on Twitter.
