Amazon has chosen a new voice for Alexa, and it’s none other than Samuel L. Jackson. The Hollywood legend will be the first celebrity voice featured on Alexa and will offer both clean and explicit versions.
If you’ve ever wondered what it’d be like to have the iconic Nick Fury give you the weekly weather report, hop on your Alexa and give it a try. To enable Jackson on your Alexa device, simply say, “Alexa, introduce me to Samuel L. Jackson.”
From there, you’ll be able to choose either a clean or explicit option — however, the more crass version of Jackson will cost you $0.99 (for a limited time, then it will be raised to $4.99). If you decide against your initial selection, you can always change it in your Alexa settings.
