Warner Bros. and Suicide Squad director David Ayer may be teaming up again for a different kind of film.
Ayer is reportedly in talks to direct a contemporary remake of The Dirty Dozen, a war film that originally came out in 1967, according to Variety.
Ayer is also in talks to pen the screenplay for the updated version, which will reportedly also follow a group of soldiers brought together on an important mission.
Ayer directed 2016’s Suicide Squad and 2017’s Bright, both starring Will Smith. There’s no word yet on casting for the remake.
