The arrival of Disney+ reportedly had an affect on Netflix’s subscriber base, but not enough to stop the company’s overall growth in the end of 2019.
According to Cowen & Co. analyst John Blackledge in a report by THR, Netflix lost over one million subscribers to Disney+. However, despite Netflix’s expected loss, Blackledge still notes that Netflix is expected to hit its fourth-quarter forecast of 7.6 million new subscribers.
