The nominations for the 77th Golden Globe Awards have been announced, with top Oscar prospects being Marriage Story, The Irishman, and Joker among the nominees. Tim Allen, Dakota Fanning, and Susan Kelechi Watson joined Golden Globe ambassadors Dylan and Paris Brosnan; Hollywood Foreign Press Association President Lorenzo Soria; and Dick Clark Productions’ Barry Adelman to announce the nominees for the 2020 Golden Globes live from the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Noah Baumbach’s Marriage Story leads the 2020 Golden Globes with six nominations, joining other Netflix contenders The Irishman and The Two Popes for the Best Motion Picture in the Drama category while the Eddie Murphy-starring Dolemite is My Name is up for Best Motion Picture in the Musical or Comedy category.
