Joker, one of the most popular films of 2019, will be returning to theaters for one week, according to an announcement from Warner Bros. Todd Phillips’ Joker will head back to theaters from January 17-24 after the film received 11 nominations for the Academy Awards.

According to Warner Bros.’ Jeff Goldstein, the Joker is returning to theaters so that those who missed out on it will have a chance to see the film on the big screen in time for awards season. “With the continued interest in Joker as a result of its recognition during this exciting awards season, we wanted to give audiences the chance to see the film on the big screen, whether for the first time or again,” said Goldstein.

As reported by Superherohype, the Joker has earned a total of $1.06 billion since it’s release, despite working with a $55 million budget.
