Star Trek: Picard Premier Date and Time

The show premiers on January 23 at 12:01 AM PT. Unlike many streaming shows, not all episodes will drop at once. Instead, a new episode will release each Thursday until all 10 episodes have aired.

Star Trek: Picard is a new series in the long-running franchise that picks up with Jean-Luc Picard (still played by Patrick Stewart) years after the events of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Also confirmed to be in this season are Data, Riker, and Troi, all played by their original actors.

While reviews won’t be available until the show premiers, CBS has already renewed it for a second season. If you need a Star Trek refresher, you can check out our Star Trek: Picard viewing guide that lays out the essential Picard-centric episodes to watch.

Star Trek and More on CBS All Access

In addition to Star Trek: Picard, you can find much more Star Trek content and more on CBS All Access. Star Trek: Discovery is another CBS All Access-exclusive series; its third season is currently in the works. You’ll also find exclusive Star Trek shorts available to stream, as well as many classic Star Trek shows. An animated series, Star Trek: Lower Decks, is also scheduled to release sometime this year.

Beyond that, you’ll find original shows like The Good Fight and Jordan Peele’s The Twilight Zone. A new adaptation of Stephen King’s The Stand is currently in the works. Loads of recent and classic CBS shows are also available on the service, as are live sports and talk shows. You can check out our recently updated CBS All Access review for more information.

In any case, you can get that free month subscription now and see for yourself. Just make sure to do it before the promo code expires on January 27.
