Are you pre-ordering Animal Crossing: New Horizons? I’m going to be there day one – that’s March 20, 2020, in case you forgot – but I haven’t put any money down yet. If you’re in a similar spot, and you live in the United States, you might want to consider Target. There’s a nice little physical bonus.
While supplies last, Target is offering a journal with Animal Crossing: New Horizons pre-orders, including online purchases. The journal has a “vegan leather cover with lined pages and [a] 2020 calendar containing key character birthdays to help you celebrate your favorite Animal Crossing characters.”
I’m pretty sure I’m gonna go digital for New Horizons – the game will just hog my Switch’s cartridge slot for the rest of the year if I get a physical copy – but I like the journal. It’s very on-brand!
As a quick aside, I had a good chuckle at all of the five-star user reviews for New Horizons on Target’s site. “This game is the best thing to happen to me.” “The best one yet in the series!” “Flawless.”
