Three familiar animated ships were featured during the Exegol battle in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
You may have missed them but, according to a tweet by Lucasfilm creative art manager Phil Szostak quoting Pablo Hidalgo from Lucasfilm Story Group, the Fireball, Jarek Yeager’s racer, and Torra Doza’s ship all arrive with Lando during that huge battle.
“‘Well, one thing we do know is that among the 14,000 ships that arrive with #LandoCalrissian over Exegol in #StarWars: #TheRiseofSkywalker are the Fireball, Jarek Yeager’s racer, and Torra Doza’s ship,’ says Pablo Hidalgo of the Lucasfilm Story Group.”https://t.co/2AeVtpaNIa pic.twitter.com/23UJOaW7K2

Szostak also links to a post on the StarWars website which explains in further detail how the three ships, which are a part of the Star Wars Resistance animated series, ended up there. For fans of the series who were wondering how the Fireball can be there, it turns out the droid Bucket is flying the craft.

Having these ships show up – even in a small way – makes a lot of sense, as Star Wars Resistance was always meant to help bridge gaps in the movie trilogy.
