Now that the 7.0 update is live for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the next era of the game begins.

Byleth is out now, but his release marks the end of the first Fighter’s (season) Pass. From here on out we’re in the age of Fighter’s Pass Vol. 2, which is subsequently also available for purchase. As a reminder this pass now includes six fighters (instead of the five, but really you can count the purchase bonus of the Piranha Plant as a DLC character), which will be released throughout the end of 2021.

Now, I’d advise that you hold off on the mystery pass, as we have no clue what’s in it yet. But if you really want to partake in the festivities right now, you’ll get a bonus. A very small one, mind.

Basically, it’s just an Ancient Helm and Ancient Gear Mii outfit. The “Ancient” set hails from Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and is shown off with the Swordsman Mii type and on the Sheikah Tower stage in the teaser image above.
