If you’ve watched every episode of The Witcher Netflix series and replayed The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt again but still haven’t had your fill of Geralt of Rivia, there’s a mod for that. Resident Evil 2 owners on PC can now play as the White Wolf in Capcom’s survival horror remake, for some reason.

Not that it needs to justify itself with a valid reason. Whether it’s modding a “Macho Man” Randy Savage dragon into Skyrim or replacing Left 4 Dead 2‘s zombies with blood-thirsty Teletubbies, there’s already plenty of proof that the more nonsensical your mod is the better. Geralt stands out like a sore thumb roaming Racoon City’s police station, which is probably the point. Watching the monster slayer wield a pistol just looks wrong but is also kind of hilarious.

The mod was created by Wiwilz, who also developed a mod that replaces Claire with Ciri–just in case you want a taste of The Witcher in both Resident Evil 2 playthroughs. The Geralt mod is the better of the two, though, purely because it features facial animations to give it a more natural look. You can watch footage of the mod above or download it yourself at Nexus Mods–just note that you’ll also need to download fluffyquack’s mod manager for installation.

Mr. X just might be Geralt’s most formidable foe yet.
