The post-apocalypse is a terrifying situation, filled with threats of zombies, barren wastelands, and a lack of resources. However, it’s hard to deny just how much fun they are–at least in video games. Some of our favourite PC games are based in the post-apocalypse, and GOG’s latest weekly sale revolves around them. Quite a few PC games have been discounted, almost all of which ask you to survive the elements and monstrous hordes–and also the cutesy farming game, My Time At Portia, for some reason.

Thankfully, My Time At Portia is also very good, and it’s well worth the discounted $15 USD price. Other games that are worth checking out include Frostpunk for $12, Dying Light: The Following Enhanced Edition for $18, and Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden for $17.49. I also recommend This War Of Mine for $5 and Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut for $12.

One of my favourite series is also on sale. Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux both see deals, and they’re both excellent games set in the underground tunnels and dangerous surface world of post-apocalyptic Russia. The conclusion to the trilogy, Metro Exodus, released on the Epic Games Store last year and is expected to release for everyone on Steam on February 14–those who pre-ordered the game prior to the announcement of its Epic Games Store timed-exclusivity were able to play it on Steam.

The sale runs through February 10, and like a survivor clawing through abandoned houses to find supplies, we’ve looked through all of the deals and pulled out the best ones. You can see our curated list below, but be sure to check out the full PC games sale at GOG to see everything that’s being offered.
