You’re in luck if you plan to play Phantasy Star Online 2 on an Xbox One X, as the popular online action-RPG will receive enhanced features on the upgraded console, the game’s official Twitter account confirmed.
PSO2 on Xbox One X will include 4K support and an expanded user interface display size. It’s unclear what “expanded UI display size” means, but it could refer to either increasing the overall size of text, improving visual contrast to make viewing easier, a combination of the two, or something else entirely.

An Xbox One closed beta for Phantasy Star Online 2 is set to take place on Friday, February 7 and concludes the next day, February 8. The closed beta gives you the opportunity to earn exclusive in-game rewards and experience that carries over to the full game. Sign-ups are still going on and pre-loading is available right now.
Phantasy Star Online 2 was announced during Microsoft’s E3 2019 presentation. However, the online action-RPG is not exclusive to the Xbox platform, according to Xbox boss Phil Spencer. PSO2 is expected to launch on PC and Xbox One sometime in Spring 2020, and, as of right now, there are “no plans” to region lock the game.
