Xbox One owners are still waiting on release dates for various titles in the Kingdom Hearts franchise. Even the recently revealed Kingdom Hearts All-in-One Package only came bearing a date for the PS4 platform, which no doubt further frustrated Xbox fans.
There is some hope however. Yesterday, Resetera poster Railgun spotted a new listing on the Xbox Store for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue, complete with a release date of February 18. This is the 2017 release that includes the HD remaster of Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance, Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep, and cinematic tale Kingdom Hearts X Back Cover.
Unfortunately, as quietly as it had appeared, the listing vanished. While no official word has followed from Square Enix, it at least gives fans some hope that the remasters of this beloved RPG series will make their eventual arrival on the Xbox One platform, even if the powers that be are being strangely coy as to when.
Kingdom Hearts III is available now on PS4 and Xbox One.
