According to its ESRB rating, Animal Crossing: New Horizons will contain in-game purchases.

As spotted by our friends at VGC, the game’s ESRB rating – which you can read at the bottom of the New Horizon’s page on Nintendo’s official website – is included on the game’s store page, but has yet to be published in full on the ESRB’s own website.

As Emma explained last week, player spending in mobile games is a lucrative business and true to form, it’s been seriously profitable for Nintendo, as the company’s made over $1bn (£769m) in lifetime revenue from player spending.
