Coming to Quibi — the first streaming platform designed specifically for your phone — is a thriller starring Game of Thrones’ Sophie Turner and The Walking Dead’s Corey Hawkins. In Survive, based on Alex Morel’s critically acclaimed novel, two people live through a devastating plane crash only to find themselves stranded in remote snow-covered mountains.
Together, Jane (Turner) and Paul (Hawkins) embark on a harrowing journey out of the wilderness, battling brutal conditions and personal traumas. Check out the first-look trailer right here…

Directed by Mark Pellington (Arlington Road, Star Trek: Short Treks), Survive is one of Quibi’s ‘Movies in Chapters,” with each chapter being 10 minutes or less.
Quibi, or “Quick Bites,” is a mobile streaming app that will feature (among other things) short-form videos from prestigious creators like Steven Spielberg, Guillermo del Toro, and Doug Liman.
Launching on April 6, Quibi costs $5 per month with ads ($8 for no ads), and was founded by former DreamWorks Animation boss Jeffrey Katzenberg and tech executive Meg Whitman.
Other projects headed to Quibi include a Reno 911! revival, a zombie series from Guillermo del Toro, a “spooky” story from Steven Spielberg, a Fugitive remake starring Kiefer Sutherland, and shows starring the likes of Bill Murray, Kevin Hart, Laurence Fishburne, Will Forte, and more.
