Steven Spielberg will reportedly not direct Indiana Jones 5, with Logan director, James Mangold, in talks to take his place.
As reported by Variety, Spielberg will remain on as a producer and this is entirely his decision. It is said he wants to hand the franchise to a new generation. George Lucas is also reportedly not involved in this film at all.
Harrison Ford is still on board, and two weeks ago the actor said filming begins in two months.
Spielberg is currently wrapping up his adaptation of West Side Story, which is due in theaters this year.
