The Matrix 4 production has reportedly been shut down indefinitely due to the spread of coronavirus.
The production crew was in Berlin preparing to shoot after filming in San Francisco, according to The Hollywood Reporter. It was reported that nothing was filmed in Berlin yet, but crew members were there setting up. The movie has supposedly been filming for seven weeks. No cast or crew members have been reported positive for coronavirus at this time.
This comes only a few hours after it was reported that Warner Bros. shut down production on Fantastic Beasts 3. A spokesperson for Warner Bros. also confirmed to IGN that The Batman ceased production for two weeks. It’s not known at this time how long production will be shut down on Matrix 4.
