Save $300 for this week only. This is one of the few gaming laptops we’ve seen that weighs under 5 pounds (in comparison, Alienware’s newest m17 laptop weighs almost 1 pound heavier). The RTX 2070 Max-Q video card is almost as powerful as the previous generation’s GTX 1080 Max-Q and can handle any game on the laptop’s 2560×1440 display.
Child of Light for PC is Free
Ubisoft is offering this excellent indie game totally free for PC gamers. We gave this game an “Amazing” 9.3/10 when it was released back in 2014. The beautiful painted-on watercolor art style withstands that test of time, and the RPG gameplay is still as fun as ever.
New Release: Half-Life Alyx Will Work on All SteamVR Compatible PC VR Headsets
Half-Life: Alyx is out and a “Masterpiece” 10/10 game here at IGN. It’s also a VR only game. Obviously it’s tailor-made for the Valve Index VR headset, but it’s playable on other SteamVR capable headsets. Adam Savage’s Tested show also confirms this by testing 8 different VR headsets with an early build of the game. For those of you who can justify plunking down $1,000 for the Valve Index kit, Half-Life: Alyx will be free.
