Amazon Prime Video is dropping the sixth season of its popular crime drama, Bosch, starring Titus Welliver as the titular Los Angeles detective. In Season 6, Bosch must investigate the murder of a medical physicist and the whereabouts of some radioactive material that’s gone missing. Amazon recently announced that the long-running series will come to end after the conclusion of its seventh season, which will premiere in 2021.
On the movie front, the streamer is adding The Lighthouse, starring Robert Pattinson and Willem Dafoe. In our review of The Lighthouse, we say, “Robert Eggers’ sophomore effort should do for remote lighthouses what The Shining did for remote hotels, the film being less a battle of wits, and more a question of who will lose their wits first.”
