If you’re a Star Wars fan who’s been holding off on Disney+, now is a good time to do the 7-day free trial if you haven’t already. Even if you let your subscription lapse when The Mandalorian ended, it might be time to dip back in. To celebrate May the fourth, a.k.a. Star Wars Day, Disney has released several pieces of Force-related content on its streaming service. You can now stream Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the series finale of The Clone Wars, and a documentary series that offers a behind-the-scenes look at the making of The Mandalorian.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker
Surely Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker needs no introduction. It’s the closing chapter of the Skywalker Saga, bringing the galaxy- and decade-spanning story to an end. Fans have mixed opinions on the film (to say the least), but one thing’s for sure: you can now stream all nine core Star Wars films on Disney+. So that’s pretty cool. Chances are, you already have an opinion on the film. Check out our Rise of Skywalker review to see what our critic thought.
Disney Gallery Star Wars: The Mandalorian
I think it’s safe to say most Star Wars fans enjoyed The Mandalorian, the flagship TV show that debuted along with Disney+. Now you can get an inside look at how the expensive series was made with Disney Gallery / Star Wars: The Mandalorian. It’s an eight-part documentary series, each episode of which will offer a look at a different part of how the show was made. Expect lots of info on the special effects and Baby Yoda (a.k.a. The Child).
The series will also feature unaired footage and roundtable discussions with the creative team, hosted by series creator Jon Favreau. The first episode is available now. Going forward, one new episode will arrive each Friday until the series ends.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Series Finale
Lastly, the series finale of Star Wars: The Clone Wars is now also available on Disney+. The computer-animated series began in 2008 on the Cartoon Network and has been one of the more critically acclaimed entries in the Star Wars canon. It has now concluded with its seventh season. The entire run of the show is now streaming on the service. Check out our Star Wars: The Clone Wars finale review for more info.
So lots of new Star Wars stuff is available on Disney+, with more episodes of the Mandalorian documentary slated for release in the coming weeks.
