Sports are pretty much over for the year, with most leagues postponing or outright canceling their entire seasons. However, there is a bright light in the sports-darkness, with UFC 249 Ferguson vs Gaethje streaming live Saturday, May 9 at 10 PM ET on ESPN+.

If you’re already an ESPN+ subscriber, you can get the PPV for $64.99. If you’re not already an ESPN+ subscriber, the good news is it’s cheap: just $4.99 a month. You can also bundle it with Disney+ and Hulu, too.
You could always sign up for a free trial, buy the PPV, and then cancel when your trial is up, but I recommend keeping it because it’s actually a really great service if you’re into sports at all.
I’ve talked before about ESPN+ and how it has tons of classic sports. I really like watching old boxing matches from legends like Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali, but they have boxing going as far back as Jack Dempsey. Those Dempsey fights don’t even have sound. It’s awesome.
If you’re a UFC fan interested in the PPV, there’s a massive amount of UFC content, like old fights and highlights, as well as shows, about the world of professional mixed-martial arts. It’s a great service for sports fans, especially now that all sports are basically done with until 20XX or so.
