LEGO’s Adventures with Mario Starter Course is now available to preorder at a variety of retailers. The set costs $59.99 and is scheduled to release August 1. The Starter Course is a 231-piece rearrangeable set that lets you build a Mario level, complete with a pipe, question block, and rotating platforms, as well as Mario and Bowser Junior figures.

The Mario figure is outfitted with an accelerometer and a speaker that emits sounds and music at relevant times during play. It also has LCD screens in his eyes, mouth, and belly that let him react to what’s happening.
LEGO has announced several other Mario-related expansion sets you’ll be able to use along with this one (the Starter Course is required for them to function properly). There’s a Piranha Plant Power Slide, Monty Mole & Super Mushroom, and Bowser’s Castle Boss Battle. No release date has been announced for these yet.
The company will also release several Power-Up Packs that give the plumber new outfits and abilities. These will also arrive on August 1, but they’re not yet up for preorder.
