HBO Max, WarnerMedia’s new streaming service, is launching on May 27, and Bugs Bunny and the rest of the Looney Tunes gang will be on hand for the big debut in the latest iteration of Warner Bros.’ Looney Tunes Cartoons.
Warner Bros. Animation has produced 80 eleven-minute episodes of Looney Tunes Cartoons featuring iconic characters like Porky Pig, Daffy Duck, Marvin the Martian, Sylvester, Tweety, Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote, and Yosemite Sam. The shorts will vary in length and feature some classic storylines adapted for today’s audiences, with Warner Bros. describing the series as echoing “the high production value and process of the original Looney Tunes theatrical shorts with a cartoonist-driven approach to storytelling.”
