Remedy Games just announced via Twitter that Control will officially be coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X.

While no release date or further details were discussed, it’s safe to say enhanced visuals and performance are likely in store. Also, since Control supported ray tracing on PC, it’s possible we may see that in the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions as both next-gen consoles are touting the feature.

Control was IGN’s Game of the Year in 2019 and we’re excited for another opportunity to explore the Oldest House once again.

The Foundation expansion launched earlier this year and is the first piece of story DLC for Control and tasks Jesse with exploring what lies below the Oldest House.

While the second expansion has yet to launch, Remedy has hinted at future installments in the Control franchise saying “the Oldest House might be infinite, we don’t know, so it’s definitely a good place to take any story.”
