Yesterday Arcade1up dropped a bombshell, announcing 4 new 3/4-scale cabinets coming later this year. Personally I’m extremely excited for them, but my biggest level of stoke comes by way of the upcoming NBA Jam 4-player cabinet.

Best Buy has the NBA Jam premium arcade cabinet available for preorder right now. In addition to a 4-player deck and WiFi capabilities to let you compete online, this package also includes a light-up deck, an officially-licensed NBA Jam riser, and a padded arcade-style stool to sit on while you throw down massive dunks.

The Arcade1up cabinet includes NBA Jam, NBA Jam Tournament Edition, and NBA Hangtime. I reviewed the Mortal Kombat and TMNT Arcade1up cabinets last year and they are really awesome little machines. It’s basically impossible for someone to see one and not want to play a few rounds.
If you’d rather get just the NBA Jam cabinet with the riser and not the light-up deck and licensed stool, Walmart has the non-special edition available for order right now for $399.
The upcoming cabinets from Arcade1up include Ms. Pac-Man, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Big Buck Hunter and its first-ever 3/4-scale pinball cabinet.
