The remake of cult-classic narrative FPS XIII will be released on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Mac on November 10.

Announced exclusively at today’s IGN Expo, the remake will adapt the original game’s distinctive cel-shaded style, keeping its hard comic book lines, but with more textural environments. All of the original game’s dialogue – with X-Files’ David Duchovny playing the lead role – and soundtrack cuts have been remastered for the remake.

Following the eponymous XIII’s fight to survive after he wakes up with amnesia, the game will adapt the original’s graphic novel-inspired flair (including those lovely “BAOOMM” captions for explosions), and includes 34 levels, 15 weapons, and a multiplayer mode to boot. Pre-orders for the game will get you a set of golden weapon skins, and publisher Microids has also revealed a limited edition version of the game that comes with a copy of the game, two-sided metal collector box, collector sleeve, three art prints, a digital copy of the original game soundtrack, and the golden weapons skins pack.

There’s much, much more to see from today’s IGN Expo, and we’re running the Summer of Gaming throughout June – here’s the Summer of Gaming full schedule. All month, we’re supporting some incredibly important causes – the World Health Organisation and The Bail Project – if you are able, help us support them too at donate.ign.com.
