Yesterday’s Hasbro Fan First Friday event had tons of news about upcoming toys, including the announcement of preorder availability for the next Vintage G1 figure in the line, Blaster.

Blaster was voted in as the next Transformers figure to get the Vintage G1 treatment on official Transformers Facebook page back in 2019.

In addition to being made from the same industrial tools as the originals, the box art for the Vintage G1 line is absolutely spot-on with the originals. The only major difference between a Vintage G1 and a… vintage G1… package are some newer fine-text additions and UPC changes. Obvious stuff. On the shelf, they just ooze 1980s. I have several of the Vintage G1 figures and I love them. A lot.

Hasbro revealed quite a few new toys coming later this year during its Fan First Friday event, including new G.I. Joe Classified Series figures like Profit Director Destro as well as a new Transformers R.E.D. line.
