As part of a new initiative on IGN, we’re spending whole entire exploring topics we find interesting in the world of video games – ones that we hope that you will, too! We started back in April, exploring all sorts of bizarre video game urban legends, then spent May deep-diving into hyper-specific details of video game development.

June was Icons month, where we spent the time we’d usually be prepping for E3 and running around the LACC profiling iconic video game industry figures, characters, series, and themes. We featured short-form video versions of these interviews in our Summer of Gaming live show, but we highly recommend you check out the full interviews as well.
