In need of a new MacBook Pro? Now’s a good time to buy. Amazon has the beastly 16-inch MBP on sale for $400 off right now. The machines were already marked down by $300, but the online retailer just added a new sweetener that knocks an extra $100 off at checkout. That’s a great deal on Apple’s biggest MacBook on the market.
These machines are the newest models at this size, complete with powerful ninth-gen Intel Core processors and spacious 16-inch Retina displays. They have the versatile Touch Bar as well as a Touch ID, which lets you forego typing in pesky passwords.

They also feature Apple’s new Magic keyboard, which pretty much everyone agrees is highly superior to the keyboard on previous models. It uses time-tested scissor switches, which are almost certainly much more reliable than previous models’ butterfly switch keyboards. The keys have more travel, so they’re more comfortable to type on. They also have the “inverted T” arrow buttons, making them easier to use without looking than the previous “thinness at all costs” design.
A 16-inch MBP isn’t a cheap item, but saving $400 can make it hurt the old bank account a little less. Grab one before the price goes back up.
