Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition will release December 4 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. This massive JRPG contains everything in the original version, plus new character-specific story lines, an orchestral version of the soundtrack, a Japanese voice-acting option, the ability to switch between the standard 3D graphics and 2D pixel-art graphics like the Dragon Quests of yore.
While the standard edition of Dragon Quest XI is already available for PS4 and PC, this definitive edition first came to the US on Nintendo Switch. This upcoming release also marks the series’ debut on Xbox consoles. Note: the game will be on Xbox Game Pass, so subscribers don’t need to buy it separately (unless you want a copy to keep).
