For anyone who doesn’t mind using the Epic Games Store, they’ve sure been spoiled over the past year-and-a-half. The Epic Games Store’s two major advantages are a) weekly free games and b) a coupon system that regenerates in perpetuity. The latter has pushed sale events from decent deals to can’t-miss prices.
That’s why it’s almost disappointing when Epic holds a sale that doesn’t feature coupons. Here’s how they work. You get a $10 coupon for logging in during the sale. It can be used on any game or add-on that’s priced at $15 or above. Then, you earn another $10 coupon whenever you use the first coupon. It just keeps going as long as you want to keep buying.
Unfortunately, the just-started Epic Games Store Summer Sale is just an ordinary sale. However, you might still have a coupon saved up from the Mega Sale in May. If so, you can use it until November 1 but this might be your best opportunity for a while. Epic gave those coupons out like candy at a parade, so there’s a great chance a lot of you have one stored up.
Anyway, as for the sale itself, there are 170-some games and DLCs that are discounted. Here are some highlights:
